Brooke Nelson

Brooke is a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker with over twenty years of experience working with children and families. Brooke is PCIT International certified and is Level 2 trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). Brooke is also trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). She has experience working with children and their families with a wide array of diagnoses including attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder.

Brooke is passionate about helping children and families recognize their inherent strengths, build connections in their lives, and develop coping strategies for life stressors. As a parent herself, Brooke recognizes that parenting can be both incredibly fulfilling and challenging at times. Brooke provides a trauma-informed, collaborative approach with parents and caregivers to ensure they feel confident understanding and supporting their child's behavioral and mental health needs at home.
